About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website. They do not form the agreement for any vehicle — that is a separate contract issued at the point of order, and it is the document that governs your rental.
Pricing
All prices shown on this website are indicative only and are subject to status, availability, and a full written quotation. Business prices are shown excluding VAT; personal prices include VAT. Prices may change without notice and do not constitute an offer.
Vehicle availability
Our fleet changes daily. A vehicle appearing on this site does not guarantee it is available at the time of your enquiry. Where a vehicle has gone, we will tell you promptly and offer the closest alternative we can supply.
Images and specifications
Vehicle images are for illustration only and may not reflect the exact model, specification, trim or colour supplied. Specifications are provided in good faith but should be confirmed before you order.
Mileage and condition
All agreements carry a contracted mileage allowance. Mileage above that allowance is charged at the excess mileage rate stated on your quotation and agreement. Vehicles must be returned in a condition meeting the BVRLA fair wear and tear standard; damage beyond that standard is rechargeable.
Regulatory status
Short Car Leases (part of Cocoon Vehicles Ltd) is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for credit-related regulated activities. We act as a credit broker and, in respect of some vehicles, as a supplier. We may receive a commission from funders, the amount and nature of which will be disclosed to you on request.

Intellectual property
The content, design and code of this website are owned by or licensed to Cocoon Vehicles Ltd. Manufacturer names, model names and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Liability
We take reasonable care to ensure the information on this site is accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or error free. To the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Complaints
If something goes wrong, contact us at enquiries@shortcarleases.co.uk in the first instance. If we cannot resolve it to your satisfaction you may be entitled to refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
