12 month car lease

The best value in short-term leasing. Twice the payments of a six month deal means the monthly figure drops noticeably — for the same car, the same inclusions and the same service.

In short

A 12 month car lease is a fixed one-year contract hire agreement. Because the vehicle's depreciation is spread across twelve payments rather than six, the monthly figure is materially lower than an equivalent 6 month lease. Servicing, maintenance, road fund licence, warranty and breakdown assistance are included; insurance and fuel are yours. It is the lowest-cost route into short-term leasing, provided you are confident about the full year.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, and it is the best-value term in short-term leasing. Twelve monthly payments spread the vehicle's depreciation over twice as many instalments as a six month agreement, so the monthly figure drops noticeably for the same car.

It varies by vehicle, but a meaningful drop in the monthly figure is normal. The trade-off is that you are committing for a full year, with a settlement figure payable if you need to exit early.

If you are confident you need the car for a year, yes — it will cost you less every month. If there is a realistic chance you will want out at month five, the subscription's flexibility is worth the premium.

We collect the vehicle. It is assessed against our own return standards rather than the BVRLA fair wear and tear standard, which applies only where a vehicle is kept beyond 18 months. There is nothing to sell and no residual value risk sitting with you.

Frequently yes. New limited companies are declined by most mainstream funders, but we place these regularly using a larger initial payment or a director's guarantee. See our new business leasing page.
